Play Therapy Northern Territory (PTNT) was founded in 2005 by Josephine Downs (formally Martin). She has an extensive history in children's welfare and counselling.

PTNT specialises in children's counselling. Child Centred Play Therapy is Josephine's preferred theraputic method. However, Josephine also undertakes directive play therapy, is skilled at undertaking Child parent relationship training and also wider Filial Therapy methods. Josephine has expereince first hand how Play Therapy can connect your child through the world of play.

Josephine also conducts parent support nights, training seminars and workshops for other healthcare providers.
